Admission Details
Admission to the JMDP is conducted in accordance with the current legislation, the Regulations for Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of the University of Thessaly, and the provisions and regulations of this JMDP Regulation.
Annually, a call for applications is published and posted on the official websites of the JMDP and the Institution. The applications, along with the necessary documentation,are submitted electronically in the candidate submission platform: (Here), from the beginning of February to the end of June (PHASE I).
This deadline may be extended by decision of the Curriculum Committee (Phase II).
Application Requirements
Applications must be submitted online along with the following documents:
- Copy of Degree or certificate of completion of studies : Official proof of undergraduate completion.(Submission of the degree must be completed before the start of enrollment in the JMDP).
- Academic Transcript: GPA details and grading system.
- ️ Language Proficiency:In case English is not the candidate's native language, a certificate of proficiency in English (C2 level) is required. Certified language proficiency certificate in other languages should also be submitted.
- Identity card or passport: Copy of identity card or passport.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Statement of Purpose: 1000-1500 words explaining your interest to participate in the specific JMDP and presenting relevant scientific considerations .
- Two Recommendation Letters: Sent by faculty members at fa@uth.gr.
- Research/Thesis/Papers (Optional): Submission of previous research work.
- Computer Skills (Optional): Certification proving computer skills (optional).

Selection Criteria
The selection process is based on a 100-point system:
- Degree Grade: 30%
- Scientific Publications: 5%
- Other Master's Degrees: 5%
- Work & Research Experience: 10%
- Recommendation Letters: 20%
- Oral Interview: 30%
The final ranking list is published on the official MSc website after the evaluation process.
Tuition-Free Enrollment
Students may qualify for tuition-free enrollment if they meet financial and academic criteria:
- ✅ Must have a GPA of at least 7.5/10.
- ✅ Cannot exceed 30% of total admitted students.
- ✅ Selection is based on financial status and academic merit.
